Join us on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Oakhurst Center for Community for a concert to celebrate Global Village Project’s 15th Anniversary and the release of “Imagine A Circle: The Global Village Songbook” followed by a community pot luck celebration!

The concert is directed by Elise Witt, GVP Director of Music Programs 2009-2024 & Akua Taylor, GVP Music Artist-in-Residence and features current GVP students and alums, with special surprise guests.

“Imagine A Circle: The Global Village Songbook” contains 55 songs written by, with, and for the students of GVP. It is designed for using singing & songwriting with multilingual learners. Available to purchase at: https://elisewitt.com/web/gvp-songbook/

Global Village Project is a tuition-free middle school for refugee girls. All proceeds from this concert and songbook sales will benefit STEAM education at GVP.

Oakhurst Center for Community at 222 East Lake Decatur Dr., Decatur GA 30030. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., program begins at 5:00 p.m., the potluck celebration follows the program at 6:30 p.m.
