Volunteer opportunities:

GVP has several ways to engage as a volunteer. As a classroom volunteer, you would assist teachers and students on a weekly basis. As a lunch volunteer, you would help supervise students as they walk to lunch at Agnes Scott College and/or help manage students during on-campus lunch. You would also serve lunch to students when we are on campus. We also have volunteers to assist at special events (fundraisers, etc.). Which opportunities interest you? • Classroom volunteer (weekly shift scheduled between 8:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on weekdays) • Lunch volunteer (weekly shift between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 on weekdays) • Special event volunteers (2-3 opportunities a year)
Volunteer Positions:(Please select 3)(Required)
Our program is organized by Forms. Form 1 is for our newcomer students, who arrive to GVP with little to no English. Form 2 is for our intermediate students, and Form 3 is for our most advanced students. If you are interested in classroom volunteering, please select at least 3 of the following options.
Are you willing to be on our call list for last-minute volunteer needs?(Required)
Our mentor program pairs volunteer mentors with graduating GVP students to support them on their transition to high school and beyond. The time commitment is for at least one year, and mentors meet with their mentee at least twice a month at the convenience of both parties.
