Erin Alred, Director of Operations, will be leaving Global Village Project this summer. After eight years of service to the mission, Erin has decided to move on to her next chapter.

Erin came to GVP in 2016 as a Development Associate and was eventually promoted to Development Manager, then Development Director, before she moved over to the role of Director of Operations almost two years ago. In her time at the school, she has been instrumental in the growth of the organization’s financial resources and by extension its sustainability. Her strategic mind and warmth with donors and volunteers drove strong engagement from these groups and was instrumental in building commitment and dedication supporting the mission.

As Director of Operations, Erin was critical in centering equity, trust and employee wellbeing as high organizational priorities. Erin was the colleague everyone wished to have. She worked hard to make sure everyone around her felt safe, valued, seen and heard. With students, she was always present, ready to help and willing to hug and comfort.

We are grateful to all her many contributions to the mission of GVP and wish her the best in her next chapter!
