We have a strong community of partners:

Agnes Scott College has provided strong support for our organization since its inception, with faculty among the founders of the school. President Elizabeth Kiss sits on GVP’s Advisory Board. Agnes Scott allows our students to eat lunch in their dining hall at a reduced charge and provides our school with a paid work/study intern. Faculty from the Education Department collaborates with our teachers to teach joint classes at GVP and ASC.

Decatur Presbyterian Church is among our strongest and oldest community partners. DPC provides classroom space for our school free of charge.

The Goizueta Foundation has just entered into partnership with GVP with a multi-year commitment to supporting and growing the arts integration and project-based components of our STEAM curriculum.

Kennesaw State University: We have a deepening relationship with KSU’s Theatre department through Department Chair Dr. Margaret Baldwin.

The Alliance Theatre is funding two drama internship placements at GVP and is providing a highly trained and qualified teaching artist to lead a literature-based unit supporting literacy and English Language Learning through drama.

Synchronicity Theatre’s Playmaking for Girls: Program Director Susie Purcell is leading classes at GVP for our students that focus on empowerment and community-building through movement, and expression.

Berry College: Berry Education students and faculty will participate for the 6th year in 2018 in a “Maymester” program at GVP, working with our Head of School and faculty and engaging in classroom teaching and learning.

New American Pathways:  This refugee-serving agency partners with GVP to provide family liaison services and summer programs for our students.

Georgia State University:  The University partners with GVP to provide interns and faculty professional development opportunities.

Coalition of Refugee Serving Agencies: GVP is a member of CRSA, allowing us to deepen our engagement with the rest of the refugee-serving community and come together on issues relevant to the refugee population.

In 2018 we have also been grateful for the support of our sponsors:
